quick 1708 fiberglass ????

Is 1708 a good choice for stringers and deck cover?
Or should I use a diferant glass for the deck?-Going to gel coat or rhino line the Deck
Boat is 1979 fiberglass cudy cabin

Great for last two layers of stringers. You CAN use it on the deck but really not needed. Three layers of 1.5oz CSM is Plenty. I WOULD Tab the deck to the hull with a 6" tabbing of 1708 just for strength.

Always precoat with resin first and make sure the edges HAVE NO VOIDS. If they do FILL EM. Then a layer of CSM
