Quick fix with thru hull?

The thru hull by the bilge is leaking water.. its a slow leak but a good enough one but its gunna be in the water for the next week.. is there anything i can do while its in the water to fix it.. i wanna try it first before i have to take it out and have one of the marinas up here fix it.. and how long would it take for them to fix it?

Run a bead of 5200 around it, you will be fine.

As long as they have the right size fitting in stock (make sure) before they pull the boat... they should be able to pull your boat into the pit, pull it out, leave it on the forks, replace the fitting and drop it back in, in under an hours time.

ok.. ya i dont have any 5200 with me unfortunatly.. but theres like ten marinas in area so ill give them a call..

Get 5200 fast cure (24 hours) if you can find it. The regular 5200 takes 7 days to cure.

well its in the water now thats why im looking for a quick fix.. the bilge pump has no problem and only really turns on when i stop on back
