The previous owner tore everything down so the replacement throttle he bought was attached to a board that was cut out. I started putting it back together. I attached the base bracket at a 90 degree angle so if you were looking at it the cables out exit at exactly 3 oclock going aft towards the engine. My questions are this.

1. It doesn't seem to be properly orientated so my throttle isn't at 12 oclock in neutral. Do I need to re-orientate the whole assembly to maybe 4 oclock position so my neutral is at 12 oclock spot.

2. There is also a ring inside the assembly that has 2 raised nipples on it. I'm not sure the orientation of this as well. This might be effecting my overall range as well. Can someone enlighten me where the ring needs to intersect into the assembly?

There are quite a few different Quicksilver remotes. Pictures would help. (if forum is working well enough)

You likely have the same control as my 210 Monaco, and mine is at about 1 o'clock in neutral. I think they are all like that so forward gear, especially WOT is more comfortable and falls easier into hand.
