First, make sure you didn't mount it backwards. That should be pretty obvious.<br /><br />Second, is this an open array antenna or dome?<br /><br />If open array, make sure you didn't put the radiator on backwards.<br /><br />If dome, there is usually a magnet inside the scanner that the radiator passes over every time it turns. This is how the scanner knows where the bow is. This magnet's position is usually adjustable. Check your owner's manual to see if you have that (I know Furuno does and I imagine JRC would since they are similar) and the specifics on how to adjust it.<br /><br />I don't think reversing a wire would cause that since the only feed down to the diplay is a coaxial video cable. The image is processed in the antenna. All of the other wires are just for controls.<br /><br />Another, but less likely cause, is the sweep timing is not adjusted right, but unless you messed with it earlier, that shouldn't go bad.<br /><br />Good Luck, <br /><br />Peter
