Not meaning to hijack this thread but I think we only got about 20 hours of blue sky this summer so far.

That's abot double what we had here in eastern Newfoundland. Most here say it is the worst summer here they can remember.

Received 11+ inches in 12 hrs yesterday. Record for my location. Two pumps and wet vac working overtime. Add a full moon tide and we are ankle deep in the streets. Lightening was so intense I got out of bed and into the basement next to the dog.
