Raise rpm's in nuetral?? 87 Wellcraft 18ft. classic

Hello all,

I have an 87 Wellcraft 18ft. classic with 3.0L Merc alpha one.

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase rpm's with the drivers throttle, while in nuetral? I do not see a way to "push a button" at throttle to rev engine in nuetral and increase rpm's like on most boats.

Tulsatime said his throttle on his 16ft Bayliner, you had to pull out the throttle and then you could rev engine in nuetral.

I pulled straight out ( towards driver ) on entire throttle shifter and answered my question.
