I took my boat out last week for the first time this season. All went well except near the end of the day when doing some tight turns, under heavy power, I noticed some minor pinging. This weekend, I put some SeaFoam in the gas and changed the spark plugs. When changing the plugs, the plug wire on cylinder 8 was completely off! In addition, cylinder 3 looks like it was not firing either as indicated buy the spark plug I removed (Plug wire may not have been properly seated.). I was running on 6 cylinders all day! 
The engine didn't idle or run rough. I suspected something wasn't right when I didn't reach the proper WOT RPM. <br /><br />Do you think I did any permanent damage to the engine?
