So as I wait on the wife to reach retirement age, I nominally do handyman work to keep me busy and to cover the boat and booze expenses. To that end, I work out of a vw sportwagen loaded as such I can do 80% of anything on first visit. Part of my tool package as an old bald white guy is spray sunscreen. Today I realized I should NOT keep that next to my can of WD40. I don't squeak today tho.....

Got to love the internet cookies. Looked up a shrimp scampi recipe from Ina Garten and the sidebar ads are for boat epoxy. Yum..

Got some dirt in my eye when working under a car. Went in the house to use some Optrex eye wash, found the Optrex cup / goggle thing you fill with Optrex and hold to your eye but couldn't find the bottle of Optrex. My mum was there and helped me find the bottle. I poured some into the cup, placed the cup over my eye and tilted my head back while keeping my eye open expecting some relief... But instead of relief it made it worse - mum hadn't passed me the bottle of Optrex, she'd passed me a very similar shape bottle of minty mouth wash.

That sucks.
I once got up in the middle of the night with burning eyes went to put in some eye drops and accidentally used Olbas oil. That gave burn a completely new meaning.
