Yep , I have a few spanners/ sockets that have been bent / cut / welded for jobs
I would venture a guess that anyone on this list over 65 has at least one offset wrench that has been bent or cut and welded to be used as a distributor wrench. If you haven't seen it in a while it is probably sitting on a shelf behind that dusty dwell meter that you may never use again but remember how much you payed for it so can't bear to throw it away.

Drove VW beetles back in the day. Nospecial distributor wrench required, but I do have a dwell and tach meter in the bottom drawer of the roll around.

Not a car guy….have no idea how or why I came to own one.

LOL ... I have the dwell meter (somewhere) for the boat before this one. Never needed the distributor wrench yet. And I'm 55!

Here's my snap-on MT-460 just about a year ago when I installed new points in the dual-point in the Dart.

That distributor is on the fritz again. Replaced the vacuum advance and leads this month. Put an HEI distributor in its place while I find the rest of the parts it needs.

Went to school with a guy that had a late 60’s dart that was Lime Green.
It only had the slant 6 but still a very cool car.
I’ll never forget it. You could see it coming from
Miles away. 😂

Had a 1955 Plymouth in the early 60's. Last vehicle I owned with dual points.
