San Diego has been the center of attention lately for all sorts of political corruption. Quite frankly it's been a mess and has really hurt the city.

But to have a long time Congressman caught up in bribes, corruption, steering contracts....it just makes you wonder how many other "politicans" are doing the same.

Boy I miss the San Diego of yesterday....it had a small town feeling and really made you think that their slogan "America's Finest City" meant it.

The Dems have had their share too.

As another old saying goes.... power corrupts. No one is above it's temptation.

Personally, I believe they are all corrupt... in some way.

I am with ya KaGee
seems its neither a democrat nor republican problem.
its sad that such a decorated and respected person used such horrible judgement while in a position of public trust. even worse is he is taking at least 4 others down with him. I hope he gets the max penalty allowed by law.

when it comes to personal scandals seems no party holds a moral high ground, but my opinion of people on the public dole that get caught should serve the max penalty.

The Senators and Congressmen from the Hoosier State are the only honest politicians in Washington DC. It's all you people in the other 49 states that are causing the graft and greed in Congress.

OK Tongue in cheek there. :) :)
I think every one in DC is or will be a crook.

Rush says it was not Cunningham's fault, it was those liberal democrats again and he can prove it because there are no corrupt Repulicans....

Personally I think this is a victory for the American people. We ferreted out a bad egg, and now we should prosecute him to the greatest extent of the law. We should always make examples out of those who hold and abuse the public trust.

I don't care who they are or what side of the isle they represent.
