Funny story about rats,I grew up on a old dairy farm,and the old house would get rats in it started turning cold,one night dad kept hearing them in the laundry and bathroom,but he could'nt find them so he bout some rat shot for a 22 pistol and put the gun in the bathroom.a week later dad went to do his morning constantuinal and a few minutes later all we heard was gunshots going off ,scared the crap out of all of us,well that rat came in there and stood up on its hind legs and stared at dad,now this aint no city slicker rat this is a true country rat big enough to have sex with a turkey,so the shooting started and dad got his revege.<br /><br /><br />Nothing really freaks me out to much but i was under the house the old one mentioned up above and the crawl space was on the ground,i was on belly crawling in this little trench could'nt move hardly at all and there it was the biggest d#m bull snake i ever seen dont know weather the snake freaked me or the not being able to get out there quick enough.

Most anything that creeps or crawls freaks me out. I absolutely hate spiders and snakes, cockroaches, mice and even great big moths that have bodies. They all make my hair stand on end, usually followed by a blood curdling scream.

They got some exotic (vermese python) snakes in the glades that bother me. They bother the gators as well. I guess its safe to say anything that can swallow me whole.<br /><br />A wasp or a yellow jacket is the only bug I go out of my way to kill. Years ago I did alot of concrete and forming work on a custom house one Summer in mid southern Washington state.<br />Seems that wasps are attracted to curing concrete or the moist forms during the drying and curing. Maybe the moist heat from the curing. They always would be in nearly every other form or cam-lock I had to remove. So I had to check everyone of them first, size up the fight, and attack the two or three with duel claw hammers. Much of the battles were conducted hanging from a scaffold 2-3 stories in the air. I had to plot and rehearse in my mind which to kill first, second, and so on cause once you went after any of them all in the group would come after you the instant you attacked. I love killin the *******s!

ps.. 4 wasps nailed me while i was boarding up for wilma.. I found the first nest and thought I got em' all.... backed right into the second nest that i did'nt see..... Silicone spray is good wasper killer....

Roaches. I have done some roach jobs where I walk in and inspect, and see a few running around the Kitchen. Once I start gassing, they pour out of every crack and crevice, out of the appliances and electronics by the hundreds. They go up the walls and across the ceiling, and invariably fall on me. They scurry across the floor, and I am constantly shaking them off of my legs. I have to gas my own gassing machine because they run to it and try to get inside. My worst fear is having a fertilized female hitch a ride and end up in my house. Gross...<br /><br />I don't mind being in an attic with 200 bats in it, I don't mind mice or rats or other insects, just roaches.

Bugs, and if they have hair like say the one posted above, it's off to the shakes locker for me. When faced with these creatures I have but one reaction, I kill them. Nothing that ugly deserves to live.

spiders<br /> most anything else I can deal with, grew up in an area with brown recluse and blackwidows and have seen some folks with some nasty bites from them. now I kill them all. the rest does not bother me. we dont have animals big enough to eat me here .
