Rattle in outdrive when run with muffs

I have a rattle when shifting from forward or reverse with the prop spinning. a mechanic told me it was normal for a alfa1 on a 5.1 mercuiser.He said it shouldn't do it when in the water. But it worries
me any feedback would be apreciated

Have you pulled the oil fill plug on your stern drive to make sure your full???

motor off, drive in gear spin prop, hear the click click click..... is this the noise your hearing? yes if you run it on muffs, rev it up and get out of the gas it will click.click.click....
