Hello? This is ARROGANT....My post..
"I don't know why you would do that with no intension of using it. Yes, I would fog it again. And the next time you take it out (for the season), first change the oil and filter again. Water is a byproduct of combustion, and a motor only run 5 minutes creates a lot of it. You haven't hurt anything, but always try to do a 20 minute on the LAKE or soon after a flusher-running start up. If you want to charge the battery, use a charger, not the motor. Hope this helps.

So thats arrogant?

Well I'll be darned..you should see me when I'm in a good mood then (you might not like it either) But, I digress..

You never said in your post you just bought it. If you had said that, maybe you would have got a different answer. Running a boat motor for a few minutes that you just bought or not, is STILL a bad idea. That was your question. Please don't come here, and if you don't like the opinions you recieve after asking a simple question (without any of the facts that other people post, as we can't read minds, such as WHAT boat, WHAT motor, WHAT year, WHERE located...ya know, the LITTLE things?) I could go on, but I don't feel like you want help from me anyway, so good luck.........(now where's that list of mine..
