Thank you all for the advice, What I found was that some wear in the line going to the ignition switch I was losing volts. So not knowing just wear this was I ran a new wire from the battery to the ignition switch. I used a 10 gage wire with a 30 amp fuse at the battery. I now have the 14.5 at the ignition switch and 12 + at the coil. I am now confident that will put a end to the coil eating trouble. Thank you all.
