Anyone have any experience with something like this? I believe somewhere there's a manual for this....

Step 1.) Carefully remove rear glass.

Step 2.) Clean up broken glass.

I have a slider that needs to go into my old work truck. I picked it up from a local wrecking yard, came with a gasket. I looked online, and haven't found anything on replacing this thing. I keep thinking it can't be too hard, but then, I've not done it before.

Looks like it should be rather easy, but I'm wondering if anyone has done this before????

I replaced the rear window in my 78 chevy dually years ago.
It really was rather easy. Just be extremely careful and slow, starting in a lower corner and it will start sliding out. I think I used some wd-40 on it too which helped.....

get some small diameter rope and a spray bottle of soapy water. after you get the old one out put the rope in the channel of the weather stripping and have someone hold it up to the opening. set the bottolm in and work the weather stipping in place with the rope. the soapy water helps lube it don't be afraid to use it.

It also helps to have the new seal clean and warm it to make it more plyable. Dont use any sharp steel objects. I normaly use a old melted plastic spatchula.
