I'm fixing up a 60 hp 2 cylinder Evinrude looper for the the mid 80's. The picton scuffing cleaned up nicely with some acid and a hone. I've put new pistons, piston pins and rings in but am wondering about the bearings?

What do people normally do? A race said he has reused the bearings from overheated engines no problem.

Use 'em unless you have good reason not to.

I talking and about the needle bearings on the wrist pin and the cage bearings on the big end of the con rods right. Not the crank bearings.

The only time I'd be concerned is if the wrist pin was blue or had chatter marks.
