I am thinking about tackling rebuilding my Carburetor on my 1977 35hp Evinrude. Everything seems fairly self explainatory except for the little silver plugs. Is it necessary that I remove/change these? Are there any secrets to doing this rebuild? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

special tool to remove the jets part # 317002 or make one, pic below, i use a short ice pick, just puncture the plug and pry out, i use a small piece of wooden dowel and a small hammer to insert new ones. soak it, blow out all orifices, with compressed air. get it installed and adjust the low speed 1st section of this,
