very interesting set up, grand dad. I plan to locate my fuse blocks behind the new dash.. there's two big holes for easy access and I have the covered by small, hinged, aluminum boxes. and good job with the pics :D

My one battery should be able to support these accessories, right? I'm also considering adding a fish finder and interior LEDs for night time use..

One battery is all that is necessary for small inland waters as long as you're sensible in your electricity use. Larger boats cruise larger waters, have larger storage areas and larger electrical loads, so at least 2 batteries are often used (paid for by larger budgets). That said, having a second battery switched off in reserve to draw upon in an emergency is quite comforting for despite my modest budget. - Grandad

So I got some left over ACX from my floor and I'm gonna cut the panel out today and cut the holes, then hopefully glass it later this week and start wiring everything

Came out awesome. Will post a pic tomorrow. All teh elctronics work as planned :D gave myself a big ol pat on the back
