Nor would I rodbolt.........<br /><br />goodnuss is grasping at straws here.....<br />That's the Only reason I brought it up.......<br /><br />I learned it from My Mentor, the Greatest Wrench I've ever known.......<br />It was on an old 250 Cummins that had spent 98% of it's life idling in a wharehouse parking lot....<br />The rings/cylinders were so glazed that the Smoke was atrocious...........<br />After 2 Tablespoons of Bon-Ami@2000rpms, the smoke cleared,+ it went on for a Much longer Life.........

Appreciate everyone's thoughts. We are redoing the engines now and hopefully rehoning the cylinders will correct the problem There is still a issue about windage tray for the oil pan. That is the engine rebuilder's decision on what he want to do. He is getting information indicating that would be a good thing because the engines are V driven.
