Red engine motor year mystery

The Data Base says it is a Gi-F and was a new engine manufactured in May 2006. The alternator bracket says "5.7 GXI family" this bracket was used on nearly all VP small blocks that year. It appears it was a replacement new complete engine put in your boat in 2006. All your pictures show parts applicable to a 5.7 Gi-F, including the plastic cover. This was really helpful so thank you! I purchased this boat sight unseen from Texas. I had a survey, but still wondered how it had only 600 hours. There is a Parker dealer near Braintree, MA so Ill make some calls and see if I can track down any more information about the engine installation.

Looks like you have a 2006 engine. Like I said before, it has been completely changed from a 95.
