Yep!
Reeds were basically all the same until the Force line was discontinued. Later reeds were square tipped and lay on rubber coated vee blocks. Screw pattern was different so if you wanted to use them, you would need to countersink the stop plates and use flat head screws. Also, the mounting screw bosses for the vee blocks are deeper and will not fit into early blocks. Thus the mounting bosses need to be milled down a bit. Search my posts. I did it once. Result: No noticeable improvement in power.
Mercury did make it confusing though: They seemed to switch reed styles willy-nilly as some late Force engines went back to round tipped reed petals.
However, in your case it is a simple direct swap.
