fuel pressure taken at WOT will determine iff you have a fuel pump issue.

since your compression is iffy based on post #1. you need to do a good job taking compression readings with a good gauge.

then you need to take fuel pressure at WOT under load. 50 psi is the bottom of the spec. pic in post #3 was taken in WOT in neutral. the motor burns maybe 2 drops of fuel in neutral, where it burns 20 gallons an hour at WOT under load

Love it, I appreciate the info , I will re do the compression test while engine in heat , the first compression test engine was cold. Also I will check the fuel pressure under WOT on gear, never do WOT on natural again 👍👍👍👍, I have feeling the issue with the fuel pump because it’s not OEM, one of the comment above was talking about clogged in fuel coolant water ( heat exchanger) what you think about that ?????

When the engine heats up to normal hot temperature.
what is the idle temperature ? What is the temperature with the throttle lever pushed all the way open and the motor struggling ?
If you push the motor trim to all the way down ? Some drives can actually go past straight down. And actually tuck the prop to slightly forward and up.
Does the boat do the same struggling if you are alone in the boat and warmed up ?
Engine temperature reach 170 then thermostat open and steady on 115 . The boat not struggling while I am by myself it’s doing it when I have passengers with me , I have no issue with trim doesn’t go all the way down. It’s working fine .
