Back in the 90's we had a Quicksilver inflatable and I bought a paint/stencil kit from Quicksliver that worked great. I see they still carry the kit today, price has gone up but what hasn't. Stencil Kit

Either paint, or you can buy plastic plates that hang from the sides via glued-on "suction cups". You then put regular stick-on numbers on the plastic.

On thing that never worked for me was those rubberized numbers and glue supposedly made to stick to inflatables - sorry but there is just too much flex/expansion/contraction for those to last long.

i think i will just paint them. this is really a toy for the kids, it has a 1973 Air cooled Tanaka TOB 25 2 1/2 hp i found on ebay, still in original box. i know it's not regulation buy think i will put the registration sticker on the engine cowl because of the expansion.

Most inflatables have a line (rope) that runs all the way around the boat for lifting, etc. You can put the numbers on a thin piece of plastic or even aluminum with smooth edges and secure it to that rope on both sides. I doubt if it will go fast enough to have the mount flap around much.
