Okay, So first off I realize now that in my haste of disassembly I never marked my flyweel position in respect to the crank position. I tried to cross reference marks on the plates, but i don't feel comfortable with what i came up with. Does anyone know where I need to align the timing degree marks on the fly wheel in correspondence with the crank pin? Any and all help is appreciated!

its a 95 mariner 40hp 4 cyl 2 stroke. The Stator is set properly, does it not matter how the flywheel goes on? I swear i remember reading something about needing to set it for timing. Maybe im wrong...
