Helo boat Junkies. I have a 86 22 foot SeaRay Mid cabin. I had it nearly 8 yrs now and love it. I do like to fish alot so i'm ready to convert the deck into a more fish friendly than pleasure friendly boat. It has a High center of gravity which puts you nearly 3 feet above the water line when sitting. I waited til the deck is in need for a redo from the rotting seat bases. I should have taken better care, but you live and learn. So here are a few pics of the boat before tearing up the deck.

Soooo, you're going to make it a center console to make it more fishing friendly?

Well as you can see it's a Cabin boat and have no intentions of making it a center console.I just want to update the seats and make more room. I purchased 2 captains chairs at a decent price. and leaving every thing else open. I have a folding bench seat made for boats. I can store the bench seat in the cabin and use it when in transit. The SeaRay originally had a front facing bench seat that has a slide out rear facing bench seat underneath. It took way too much room. Here are pics of the old removed bench seats and the new seats to be installed with pics of the Moch up.

The seats also have to be cut down about 3 inches to make better use of the windshield. they swivel and are perfect for trolling or facing the rear deck when parked.
