I want to put my battery in the front of my boat for better weight distribution but I am worried about a few things.

1) Is the battery too far to crank over the engine?

2) It is a lead acid battery. Will the bit of a bumpy ride at the front be bad for it. I know trolling batteries are stored up front but this battery is a bit more critical.

3) any other things I should worry about? venting?

thanks for reading!

Re: remote battery starting

you want the cables as short as possible -outboards have very small charging systems
