Remounting seat mount onto hull

I noticed that the seat is suppose to be mounted with 6 screws/bolts on my boat. I see two of them are missing. Is it okay if I use Marinetex to fill the hulls and I redrill them put 5200 and use new SS screws to hold the seats in?

yep......however....i have found that if you screw wooden seat boxes to the deck...it just comes loose after time. i glass mine in and forget about it

Your talking about Seat Pedestal bases ? ..

If so they really should be through bolted and not just "Screwed" in.

why did i think this was wooden seat boxes ?????? im reading too many posts ....lol
