This is what i'm going to do. I can't get it out so i'm gonna remove the cylinder head and take it to a machine shop and have them press it out. The right cylinder head has just updated rubber seal in it and it's ok. But the left one has the stainless ring with a rubber gasket connected to it. Is this the proper way to remove it? Just press it out? Do I have them press it out from the inside and push it out? That's what i'm thinking.

If your replacing with what is installed let the shop do it ,if your using the updated(?) you can split it with a dremel tool and pull it out..

I'm putting the updated seal in there. I may try the dremel to cuut it out but I don't see how I could cut all the way through without cutting into the head slightly. But is that why it's so hard to get out because it's pressed in there?
