I was reading my renewal form and it said i was covered by actual cash value. My question is who sets the actual cash value? the insurance company? I have a perfect 1988 Ranger 374 vee commanchee, with a 150 mariner mag ll. Ranger trail trailer, No damage, No stress cracks anywhere, all switches, lights, pumps , and stuff works, with 3 depth sounders, Does anybody have any idea what its worth? I keep it in a garage year round, and it doesnt even get cold enough to freeze in the winter. Motor is within 3 #s compression on all 6 cylindars. Or does anyone have a recommendation of a different company? thanks Ron

Re: Renewing insurance

the insurance company will set the actual cash value in thier minds but if ever make a claim get lots of classified ads with comparable boats motors equipment and year .
just a ball park figure though the motor is worth about 2000.00 canadian dollars so depending what the premiums are you might save money by replacing out of pocket or loan or ???
