I cannot find anyone that rents boat trailers in Northern California.
Does anyone know where I could find one?
I need to haul out a 25' Carver Santa Cruz, 7,000lbs

Thanks,
CJS

Rather than rent a trailer, consider hiring a boat transport company. They have the equipment and experience to move large boats safely. Your marina should be able to direct you, or you can contact any large marina for info.

I am only looking to haul out and service the outdrive for a couple of days.
Do you know if the transport company would leave the boat on the trailer at a designated spot for me. Better yet would you know the name of one of the transporters where i could ask them myself?

I'm in Minnesota. Call a local marina and ask them about your situation. They will have dealings with all the boat transport people. There's also a Boat Storage facility in San Leandro.

Yellow Pages.

If that's all you need to do, why don't you have the marina haul out your rig and put her on a rack?

or they will block her for you. put an ad on craigslist. sometimes you can find a trailer that some one has in storage, while their boat is in the water.

yea, the marina should have those things with 2 huge straps that go under the hull, and lift it out.
They may even be able to leave the boat on that thing for a few days, and just put it right back in.
