Repair holes in stringers

Hello all on another question.

I have an inspection cover that screws into the stringers. These screws have been in and out a number of times over the years and I find the holes are stripped and getting larger.

What would be a good product to fill these holes? I am planning on replacing the cover with an easier to use (don't have to remove screws) one. The filler can't be so hard that it can't take a screw though. (Never easy) I have to reuse part of the old system and will need to screw back into the stringers.

Thanks for your help!

Marine-tex possibly. (a little expensive though) I used it when my engine mount pulled out of the stringer. Worked great for me.
