I found the service manuals for almost every type of engine at the local library. You can also order your manual right here from Iboats. Just look up, the link is right there.
I don't know what year your 70 hp is but I have a 1991-70hp rude and I just bought a genuine omc service manual off of ebay for 25 bucks. Go to ebay and type in evinrude service manuals. They had a lot to choose from.

Mine is a 1983 Johnson 70hp Seahorse. Not sure which one to get. Looked up Seloc ( some bad reviews on that one ) Ken Cook has one but that one covers multiple motors for 78 bucks. I'll check ebay.......thanks again
