repair manual ?

hi all,what do you guys think is the best repair manual for my 1985 85 hp force?also is there a better 2 cycle oil than quick silver to use?thanks,tom

I have had good luck with the Clymer on my 1998 75. It seems to be accurate. I have been using the Pennzoil synthetic decent price and not seeing any disadvantages. Been using for almost a year.

Quick silver 2 cycle oil is probably the best (and most expensive) out there except maybe for the synthetic ones.

OEM manual at any price.

The factory manual is the best.
The Clymer or Seloc will work and in some cases it gives some hints or helps that might be helpful.
I use Wally World outboard oil.
