My lower unit has a product code of 3868720. I have some figuring and reading to do so I don't pick the wrong o-ring.

Well volvo doesn't have it in stock but I boats does for $10. I guess I'll go ahead and get this and order the head, intake, and exhaust gaskets. Do yall think I will need anything else to swap my Marine parts over to the new engine?

Not knowing how far down in the tare down to reassembly you need to go, here's some other things to consider too.

1) Distributor shaft gasket.
2) Carburetor base gaskets depending on Carb model you have.
3) Thermostat gasket.
4) New Volvo fuel filter & Oil filter.
5) Oil pan Gasket.
6) Circulating water pump gaskets.
7) Sea water pump Impeller and Gaskets if needed.
8) Valve Covers are usually reusable but check them.
9) Tune up items like spark plug, cap rotor, plug wires?
10) Volvo power steering fluid.
11) Engine oil.
12) If it's an old auto/truck, Than Brass core (freeze) plugs and sealant to reinstall them.
13) Volvo service manual that might be available online.. Haven't checked though.
14) Possibly Exhaust Riser and Elbow gaskets too if inspecting internally like mentioned by Scott in post # 2.

Take some photos of how things appear to be mounted up to help remember where they should go including bolts to where/what/sizes.
Be sure to let us know how it all turns out, good luck.:encouragement:

Thank you sir. I am looking at a fel pro complete upper gasket set but I will be getting some different intake gaskets, like the ones I have seen recommended in the forums here.

I will need to find some carb gaskets and brass freeze plugs but those shouldn't be too hard to find.

When I get this all buttoned up I'll be sure to let yall know. I know where to come if I hit any road blocks along the way.

Thanks again guys!
