Hello everyone,,, I need help locating a replacement fitting.
What I have is a 1996 johnson 112 spl; just went through powerhead rebuild and while removing power head,,, I broke little nipple fitting right below carberator. It feeds a hose with a very small I/D to a fitting in the middle of cylinder 1. So from cylinder 1 to to broken fitting under carb on front port side of power head. All I also know is fitting had screen in it and tube has very small I/D maybe 1/8" if that. threaded fitting is also small, like maybe 1/8-1/4" pipe thread. sorry I dont have any more info right now.
And can it just be plugged? Thanks , Joe

Re: replacement part identification?

In addition to the private message I sent....... Those brass recirculating valves are one way valves. Fuel travels ferom the screened side to the nipple only. If you can blow air thru any of them in both directions, that will result in having some cylinders run rich and the others lean which will obviously result in major problems.

Replace any valves that prove to be faulty.
