I will be replacing my bunks & making them longer.My bunks are on the flat. Should I be using treated 2x4's or regular ones?? Fir or Spruce.? what kind of carpet, long shag, indoor /outdoor, or special marine carpet?

Pressure treaded is not advisable with an aluminum boat. The copper in the wood reacts with the aluminum.
I replaced my bunks with cedar.
