I have decided that I was up for a project and I would like to replace the floor on my boat. The boat is a 1986 Bayliner Capri that I recently purchased, and I have a few questions before I take on this task. I am up for a challenge, but I am not sure how big of a challenge it is to replace the whole floor and stringers. I have done some research into this and have found that some people do it in a few weekends, and others spend a whole season doing it. I have never done this before, and this is my first boat, however, I do have some skill with this type of project. Also, what tools do I need, I have a large collections of tools and machines, and a friend who has any tool I could imagine. What materials do I need to buy, and how much are they likely to cost? Also what are the steps and what order should I do what in? If anyone has every replaced a floor, or knows anything more than I do please give me your advice. Thanks a lot!
