Replacing throttle cable

I have a 1986 Johnson 30 hp electric start outboard and need to replace the throttle cable because it siezes up when not in regular use.<br /><br />I am hezitant to take the control box apart in case I can't get it back together. Can anybody advise if this is an easy job or not. I am fairly good mechanically.<br /><br />regards.<br /><br />Wal Taylor<br />Down Under

Dont worry, its pretty easy. The hardest part of the job will probably be puting in the new cable and adjusting it, but even that is easy. Good luck.
