I've been reading this forum for a while now and have picked up some great tips. The question I have is what non-vro fuel pump should I use to replace the faulty one I have. It's on a 1985 115 hp. (E115tlco) Plan to pre-mix gas & oil.
She started quiting on me at high throttle with no warning. Runs just fine at low speed. Had my wife pump the bulb and it seemed to help. Have cleaned out the carbs, replaced the bulb and fuel line from the tank. Plan to replace all fuel lines and pulse valve (have old black one) while I'm at it.
I just can't seem to find the correct pump number to use on this. Maybe the number on the pulse valve also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: replacing vro with non-vro pump

I have this same issue with a 1985 90hp vro. What is a non vro pump? Would that mean I had to mix gas? My oil line was messed up and probably ran the pump dry for a while. With new line and one trip under my belt the pump seems to be working right again.
