Repowering

Looking to replace my 90hp Force with a 70hp Yamy. I know the cables, tilt and trim have to go. What other types of problems might I run into? Will the transom holes still work?

Transome holes might line up. They should. You need a new control box, and fuel fitting for the end that attaches to the motor. Thats about it

Thanks for the snappy reply. Is there anyway to verify bolt patterns other than making a template and laying it over. Both motors are still mounted. Anxious to get back on the water!

Just make a few measurements. That will tell you if so or not.
