Last fall I pulled the LU to recheck the alignment as well as my bellows handy work and forgot to retorque the rear engine mounts after the first season on the water. My question is when I do the retorque now should I also need to recheck the alignment afterward? I see in the manual it says to retorque the engine mounts yearly and I've not read about anyone doing this in their yearly maintenance routine. I guess I can see why with all the engine torque being applied to those 2 mounts.

I think, if you get any movement on the mount bolts during the re-torque , you will have recheck the alignment.

Ayuh,.... I've never retorqued 'em, 'n never found a loose one pullin' a motor,.....

They screw into captive aluminum ny-lock nuts,....
