ever have 1 of those moments where you know but could'nt bet on it?...OK...2 stroke 3 cyl. 60 hp>>>idle screws in for lean and idle screws out for rich..>>>correct?..lol

Depends on which brand of engine. I know my Suzuki 3 cylinder DT85 screws out for lean because its metering air (which is opposite of what you are saying). I don't know about the other brands and hp's but I'm sure some screw in for lean because they are metering fuel.

jimd is correct.<br />2-strokes typically use a air metering system for the idle. In that case, out is leaner.<br /><br />Dave

Every Merc And OMC I've had, "in" leaned it out. He has a 1999 merc. 60 hp 2 stroke.
