i know this topic has been discussed at naseum, but i haven't seen any similar to my set-up. i have a 1970 16' Jolly Roger ski boat with 1970 Johnson 115HP OB. i'd like to hear from someone with similar set-up (i.e. early 70's Bayliner, Glastron, Fiberform, etc.) regarding the right type of hydrofoil to use (two-piece, one piece, or aluminum). The problem is my 5 year old doesn't like to go fast up on plane so we end up puttering around with the bow in the air. i would like to be able to plane at slower speeds and don't care if i lose some top end speed. thanks in advance for any help!

I've got a friend who has this one on a real heavy 22' boat that almost can't get on plane without it. With it, he pops right up. I think almost any of 'um would work for ya though.

Hydrofoil

c/6

Hooty

Davis makes the best Hydro foil. You can buy them from the Iboats mega mall.
