Right prop for a 17' cajun

I have a 89 17' Cajun with a 1985 mercury 115 anyone know a the best prop now i have a 17 pitch 3 bald. I also have a problem when i put it in forward I can fill it engage , but when i put in reverse I do not fill it in-gauger prop spends faster but does not pull back wards??

Can't tell anything about prop selction without your present max rpm and speed.Also the motors max recommended rpm range.
Do you have no reverse action or just not strong.Sometimes the exhaust will cause the prop to lose bite.Some have a deflector ring that limits the exhaust problem.
