right to left prop change?

I have a volvo 14.5 X 21 RH aluminum prop that has ragged edges from previous owner and have swapped it with a Volvo 14.5 X 21 LH SS prop. I have made the adjustments to my Volvo 275 outdrive and ran in on muffs to watch the prop. Seems well balanced. The boat originally had a left handed prop when new from the manual and I found it a storage compartment on the boat ( 14 X 21 LH really chewed up). What should I expect because of the directional change?

Essentially the same animal except that the prop torque affects will be reversed.
Of course you will have a lot more reasonably priced props to pick from.

Got it out today and WOT dropped 200 RPM, but speed increased by 5 MPH using GPS. Boat planed faster and seemed to stay on plane better with speed changes. Any thoughts on why a direction switch could cause this?
