Yeah, but it was just a light slap on the side of the helmet, seen harder hits than that from crew chiefs slapping the driver after a great win.

Very happy for the 'dinger, and I think Kelly showed he can wheel a car. I can't believe they ran him out of fuel. Mistakes happen, but that was certainly a big one. All good though.

I thought the Papis post-race interview was funny. He vented a little, took a deep breath, switched right over to apology mode about the slap and into the sponsor spiel and sort of went back to ticked off and making a fist as he walked away. Danica has heaved helmets harder that Max slapped Johnson.

Kelly had a shot until running out of gas. He was running hard.

Danica having a rough to e on the road. Wife said,to me earlier in the race, "since Nascar's roots are in outrunning the law, why don't they have more road races? The need to add a little dirt, maybe a jump and a stream to go through, and more places to pass."
