Anybody know of an adapter to put a Holley 2 barrel on in place of a Roch 2g carb. Im tired of messing with the rochester, the holley is much easier to work on and parts are easier to find.

don't know what the answer is to your question. but what are ya having trouble with on the 2gc. not much to that carb. 5 adjustments, idle mix, float level, pump rod, choke unloader + choke adj. which is nothing more that setting it to the index mark. what is it ya have to keep messing with.....

correction, 6 adjustments.... idle speed too.....

im talking internal stuff, accelerator pump issues. The biggest thing is you have to take the carb apart to do anything to it, which usually means a set of gaskets which means a whole other carb kit. I like the holley because so much is interchangeable and you can tune virtually anything individually without having to take the whole thing apart....

The R2 works good when it works, i just with it wasnt such a pain to mess with internally. Prob the best thing is just to get another kit and take it apart and fix my issues then put it back together.

Anybody know where to buy individual gaskets for these cars, like the top airhorn gasket, and maybe the booster assembly gasket?
