Do those flush mount rod holders really need to swivel? I've seen some that do, and they are very expensive vs the ones that don't, just wondering what the benefit is.
I guess I should have been more specific than flush mount... I meant the kind that sits down inside the gunwales and is flush to the upper deck... here...
for fresh water fishing those are about useless. also i've never seen the swivel type, but it would take a lot of room under the gunnel, for them to swivel.
