ok now it wont even start...the battery im using is an "autocraft" starting battery but it dies then i recharge it and then it dies......do you think a new battery would get me up and running at least?

ok i just realized i screwed up....i put the wrong gaskets behind the carbs...i put the gaskets that belong between the carbs and the silencer plate where the carbs meet the crank case and visa versa....tell me this can be causing all my grief??????????? will this cause rough idle and hard starting?

I don't know how the engine would react, never done it. Install the proper gaskets and see what happens.

i would think they are made different for a reason...one has 2 seperate holes and the other one has one big oblong hole
