Any suggestions on where to find this stuff? I've spent hours looking on the net and came up with one source that thought it was gold plated (white really, but $10/ft) and one source for black that was similar and only a few bucks a foot.

Replacing with hardwood is not out of the question, but I like the practicality of the rubber and the looks of the white. Any suggestions (or alternatives) would be appreciated.

Wow, this forum moves fast!

Chris - I have thought about an aluminum extrusion, but I'm concerned that it might be to much corners and/or too hard. Coming up along side another boat could be a problem. There is a type of vinyl covered clip on stuff that could work - comes in white and not too expensive.

Woodonglass - No, never heard of them. Those guys have quite a selection and one or two of those profiles look exactly like the original. I'll have to give them a call. Hopefully they aren't the gold plated company. ;-)
